My family and I had a wonderful time at the 11th Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show. This was great opportunity for some home based learning, rich in American History and Agricultural Science.

The 11th Annual
Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show is an annual event at one of our favorite state parks in Oklahoma.
This was a very clean and wholesome event that I think a lot of families would benefit from experiencing. This is definitely an even I would encourage a homeschooling family to add to their summer calendar. Admission is free, parking is free and the generosity of the community to showcase American History is priceless.
We got their right when the event opened at 9am because the weather was a high of 102 Fahrenheit that Saturday. That is HOT!
We chose to try everything available to us here a the Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show. From the homemade root beer and ice cream , to the antique tools and Old Corn Mill.

The Corn Mill was by far our families favorite activity of the entire day. Y’all this even beat oat paddle boating for first place! My kids love to watch the Early American YouTube channel and their eyes lit up being able to put history they knew into physical application.
There was Blacksmith Trailer where Fiona geeked out in a great way, to Simple Mechanics. In our video, she shares her knowledge of the simple machines she was able to spot.
The kids had a great time playing some of the old fashioned games they had set out at the 11th Annual Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show. These are games I think would make a great comeback now in modern society for barbecues and family get togethers. Cornhole is very common as well as horseshoes, but I am sure if a small business were to go into business making these recreation sports they would be successful with it.
We also chose to go paddle boating. Oh my gosh was this so much fun, hot, but so much fun! In our video you will see us going from one side of the lake to the other anti is just beautiful.

I hope you enjoyed reading and really, mostly seeing, our experience at the 11th Annual Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show.
Honestly, the atmosphere of the 11th Annual Robbers Cave Antique Tractor and Implement Show had a very contagious atmosphere and was so rich in American History that I found it very hard not to want to share every part of it so I didn’t hold back on the visuals. I encourage those of you who feel like the American idea we grew up having in our hearts as such a positive idea, go take you kids to these events. This will help remind you that there are parts of America who are proud Americans, and are proud of the country we live in and our history.
