This Amigurumi crochet cow and calf is the most detailed crochet project I have made to date. And guess what? I am 90% done with my second crochet cow and calf!
This crochet cow and calf set is a mother and child, with a built in birthing pocket enclosed with snaps. I made this using an original pattern purchased from LauLovesCrochet on Etsy.
This Amigurumi Crochet Cow and Calf is TOO CUTE!
I made the first cow as a custom order for my best friend who asked me to make this for her grandson for Christmas. She saw my Amigurumi Dinosaur With Hatching Egg and asked if I could make her a cow, I said yes and she had already seen the pattern for the cow via Facebook and everything worked out perfectly. I was there when her grandson received his cow on Christmas and this was by far his favorite gift of the night. Everyone loved it! Even the next day he came over clutching his cow and kept saying BABY COW!
Because the Amigurumi crochet cow and calf was so well received at Christmas I decided to list her as an opportunity for purchase on my Etsy shop BriannaLentzShop. I also have the Amigurumi Crochet Dinosaur with Hatching Egg available for purchase here if you are interested.
These animals take a long time to make and have a lot of detail so the price is justified in the labor of love it takes me to make these. These are handmade heirlooms your kids and grandkids will treasure playing with. My sister-in-law as already ordered one of each! Hence, me almost done with cow #2!
I uploaded a reel on Instagram and it has been really well received.
I think these toys are so much fun. I love the attention to detail this pattern calls for.
