Easy Pretzel Treats | Fun Kid Activity With Food

The girls and I made these pretzel treats recently and they were so delicious as well as being one of my husband’s favorite treats we’ve made in a long time. It is sweet but that pretzel is the star, not an immense amount of sugar.

We are totally making Christmas themed ones this year too, but I decided to go ahead and post about our multi-color sprinkle ones and not wait to share what could be a really fun, low – stress baking idea for your if December whizzes by and time for making a Holiday treat flies out the window! December is always crazy fast, am I right? Too many plans sometimes but not enough time do all the things we have on our list. But some of these things are really really important, like cementing memories with the kids in our lives. They don’t always have to be fancy and extravagant plans or ideas, they can be as simple as pretzels and sprinkles.

And also I think it’s important to see some of these treats that can be festive, are really functional treats all year long. These pretzel treats would be so cute as little “sparklers” for 4th of July or decorated with pastels for Spring too. So let’s get to the recipe already!

Ingredients

  • Almond bark or White chocolate
  • Pretzels
  • Sprinkles

Directions:

  • Melt the almond bark or white chocolate per the package’s instructions. I always microwave mine in a glass microwave safe bowl at increments of 30 seconds and stir until everything is just melted and then just stir and stir until everything is smooth. I don’t want to risk burning anything so I’m always super careful on this step.
  • Dip pretzels into your melted almond bark, or drizzle the melted almond bark on top
  • Cover with sorinkles
  • Let cool
  • Store in an air tight container and you are good to go!

Hope you and the kiddos have fun with these yummy treats ♥️
