Water Beads Balloon | Activities With Kids |Brianna Lentz on YouTube| Supporting Our Local Library

Have you ventured out to your local library yet?  We have a few times already.  My kids love books, reading, and especially the thrill of picking out their own books at the library.  We took advantage of the curbside pickup service our library provided the entire time they were set up with that.  At the beginning of the pandemic I wrote an article about how I encourage our 7 year old to read, click here, if you would like to read more about our tips and tricks for encouraging our kids to read.

One of the wonderful things about our library is the incredible programs it has for kids from toddler age to high schooler’s age to keep them interested in learning and reading, even social activities like cooking and gaming.  It makes me proud of our local library, that even though they can’t host the activities and events for their Summer Reading Program, they did not hesitate to make going to the library fun and exciting for young people by giving them fun activities to take home with them as safe as possible.

In my newest YouTube series, we did one of these activities together: Water Bead Balloons.

This was a great activity for my kids.  My youngest is 3 and my oldest is 7.  We also made Jolly Rancher Lollipops which you can read more about here.  Have you been doing different activities with your kids this Summer?  If so, I would love to hear about them in the comments below!
