- Chuck Roast
- Brussel Sprouts – Halved
- Celery – Chopped
- Carrots – Chopped
- Onions – Chopped
- Garlic – Smashed
- Salt, Pepper, Butter
Step 1. Flavor Your Chuck Roast by rubbing in the salt and pepper all over the meat.
Step 2. Sear your Chuck Roast to lock in flavor – Get butter hot in a pan and sear your chuck Roast on both sides until lightly browned.
Step 3. Place seared chuck roast into bottom of crock pot and don’t forget to add all the bits from your pan into the crock pot. This will help give your soup a deeper flavor.
Step 4. Salt and pepper your prepared veggies and then add them on top of chuck roast, be careful that you do not overfill your crock pot – you need to be able to put the lid on.
Step 5. Fill Crock Pot with water.
Step 6. Set to low and let your crock pot do the work for 5-7 hours.
Step 7. Remove Chuck Roast and shred the meat.
Step 8. Add the meat back into the stew and mix.
Step 9. Salt and pepper again to taste.
Step 10. Eat your delicious stew!
