DIY Shabby Chic Home Decor Upcycle | Brianna Lentz

Full Video Tutorial included at end of post <3

I am all about Making a House A Home On A Dime and I  continue working at it every day.  This week, I purchased a tin wall art / home decor piece from Goodwill for $4.  This had been sitting there for quite a while and finally I decided I wanted to buy it and paint it with chalk paint and start practicing more upcycling of pieces that really are drab only because of their color.  If you are interested In creating something similar I have included a materials and paint colors used list as well as a full video tutorial.

Materias List:

  • Goodwill Find – mine was $4
  • Chalk Paint – mine was Waverly Chalk Paint Matte Finish each $1.67
    • Colors – Ballerina Slipper and Cashew
  • Paint Brushes
  • Isopropyl Alcohol and a rag to clean

Really for $10 you I was able to create a new wall decor peice to either keep or sell.

You can do this too, watch my YouTube Tutorial and my complete process here :
