
This week my husband came in from mowing the lawn yelling at me to smell what he had in his hands.
Fresh and wild chives. So the next question was well what do we make with these? My father in law suggested Egg Salad with our fresh eggs. Which is an excellent idea. But the afternoon turned rainy and I was craving some comfort food. So Cheddar and Chive biscuits was decided with tomato soup.

How I made these biscuits is down below :
I follow my Holy Grail Biscuit recipe which is J.P.’s Big Daddy Biscuits from Allrecipes.com
However I include about 1/2 Cup Chopped Chives as well as 1/2 to 3/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese. Bake at 425 until Golden brown. Immediately remove and place on wire rack to cool. Enjoy while warm.
We ate ours with Tomato Soup in place of Grilled Cheese and OH MY GOSH was it so tasty and good.
