What am I reading in February 2019?

This is the shortest month of the year and I have a very long TBR. Because that makes sense, right?

The first book is Liar Temptress Soldier Spy by Karen Abbott. This is a carry over from January and I am both reading the physical book and listening to it via audiobook. Both of which I highly recommend so far.  This is a non-fiction book following the narrative of four women who go undercover in a multitude of ways during the civil war.

The second book I am reading this month is Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer.  This Sci-Fi has been on my TBR since last Summer and I finally decided to go for it.  It is the first of three books in the Southern Reach Trilogy.

It is the book that was adapted to film, starring Natalie Portman.  The movie came out last year, but you know, I have to read the book first!

Children of Blood and Bone, written by Tomi Adeyemi is next on my list.  This is a very popular 2018 YA Fantasy that has it’s sequel coming out in June of this year.  I have heard nothing but good things about this and really am excited to read it.

If I have the time, I would also love to read:

Dry by Neal Shusterman  and  Final Girls by Riley Sager.

We shall see how much I can get to, or as the month goes on which ones I actually feel like reading. What are you reading this month?
